Fresh out of labor (well not quite), I joined The Little Gym looking for a venue that could give me the lowdown on Baby Motor Skills 101. Did I mention that I also desperately wanted to meet new mommies that understood what I was going through? You know the drill, finding friends in an established mommy group can be worse than your first day of high school. The Little Gym gives you the benefit of class breakouts among different age groups from 4mths to 12 years. Here I found some of my best friends and mommy confidants. People that recognized what a precious commodity a shower had become, who understood that giving your right arm for some decent sleep was not an extreme measure, and where, after two years, I continue to take my child.
