We have all been to the "chain" interior stores where you get the feeling that you are paying more for the rent and catalog distribution than for quality furnishings. Aarhus is the exception to the rule. Many of the their items are truly one of kind pieces that I have been unable to find anywhere else. As the consummate bargain shopper, the prices still sting a bit. In truth, some furnishing (i.e. bedroom sets) could be found for a lesser price at a large furniture house; however, for that special dining table or heirloom sequel wing chair go for it.
