...Our family recently visited the Hylton Performing Arts Center for one of the performances in the Family Series, the Fred Garbo Inflatable Theater. It was a great family show full of juggling, dancing, giggling, and of course, giant inflatable props that came to life with both humorous and endearing personalities of their own.

Looking for tickets to the National Christmas Tree Lighting? Tickets will be distributed for FREE via an online lottery system starting Thursday, November 3rd. Sign up anytime between at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, and 9:59 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 for the chance to win. Tickets will be mailed by November 14, 2011. A total of 3,000 ticketed seats and 14,000 standing room tickets will be available.
If you aren't lucky enough to win one of the coveted tickets, grab the kids and a cup of hot chocalate and watch it at home! WETA, Washington DC public broadcasting station, will begin airing the 2011 National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday, December 2nd and continue throughout the holiday season.
