Whether it is your first baby or your fourth baby, most mothers will undoubtedly reference a new or well-worn copy of  "What To Expect When You Are Expecting" during pregnancy.  This book was my bible when I was pregnant with my first child. 

Most recently with my second pregnancy I discovered that a lot has changed in six years.  This time around I not only have the book, but I have fallen in love with the online site, http://www.whattoexpect.com/.  I signed up for the weekly updates during my 1st trimester.  It has been very exciting to get weekly reminders of my little one's milestones.  It has also been helpful to check out exercise options, weight gain guidelines, advice on Braxton Hicks and loads of baby prep advice.

As I near the finish line, the site has been a lifesaver!  I was reminded just how many things I had forgotten.  There are complete lists of diaper baby essentials, hospital must-haves and tips on baby names.  This is a very good thing...since my mind is officially GONE these days!!

Beyond the lighter side, the site does a wonderful job of tackling bigger issues that impact you both before and after pregnancy.  Maternity leave laws, toy safety alerts, weaning your baby, potty training tips, health issues and exercise are just a sampling of the topics that are covered on the "What To Expect" website.
